Las Alturas was awarded the 55+ Housing Council SoCal SAGE Award as the
“On the Boards” 2012 Project of the Year.
An elevator takes residents and visitors to the second floor where they can find a community room with a full kitchen, library, a crafts room, a computer room, and office space for the social service coordinator.
The community room has access to a large courtyard area, complete with a fountain and dog corral to allow pet owners to take their pets outside while remaining in the safety and comfort of the community.
Las Alturas is a 78-unit, HUD 202/LIHTC community for older adults (62+), with one-bedroom units.
The ground-level floor of this community houses the manager’s office and a lobby that are furnished to also serve as a lounge.
