Paradise Canyon Elementary School is located in the northeastern foothills of La Cañada Flintridge.
It is a K-6 school with a 2007–2008 enrollment of 620.
The project involved the construction of a new 5,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose building.
SYL provided heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing design for the building.
The design challenge was designing the HVAC air distribution system without interfering with overhead roof and ceiling components.
SYL designed an underground duct distribution system consisting of PVS coated duct to eliminate any architectural or structural conflicts.
