Cedars Sinai Medical Building
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a nonprofit, tertiary, 886-bed hospital and multi-specialty academic health science center
located in Los Angeles, California.
The project is an existing eight story building involved the renovation and reconfiguration of the
G. I. Pancreatic treatment area on the seventh floor.
SYL provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for this renovation. SYL designed the layout and redistribution of the existing dual duct, constant volume HVAC system.

The design for the upgrade and renovation of the waste, water and vent lines was also provided. Plumbing work also involved the design and provision of a medical gas system.
The lighting and power distribution design were provided by SYL in addition to the fire detection, alarm, sprinkler, and security surveillance systems.
