The museum is the new house of Lancaster Museum of Art and History. It is a repository for historical artifacts coming from the Antelope Valley and a place where audiences experience exhibitions of fine art and participate in art and history based programs.


The project is a 3 story building which is combination of new and existing structure consisted of exhibitions, storage offices, education & auditorium, library/research, museum store, public areas, food service, maintenance & mechanical, conservation/prep,


restroom, receiving area and loading dock. 




The museum embodies quality environmental control consisting of cooling, heating and humidifier to maintain tight temperature and relative humidity range.


The project exceeded the stringent requirements of 2008 California Building Efficiency Standards efficient air conditioning system and high efficacy lighting.
